“Quick Add” for Tasks and Challenges
You can now capture action items in meetings instantly with Quick Add. Just click into the new “+ New” button, type a title, and press Enter—no modal, no interruptions. Tasks and Challenges are auto-created with smart defaults and saved in real time so the platform keeps up with the pace of thought.
Live Rollups & Task Window Update
Performance and Alignment dashboards now use live data for Objectives, Behaviors, Skills, value, and Alignment—ensuring every view reflects the most up-to-date marks. Task Completion metrics have also been refined to a 30-day window (down from 90 days) for a sharper view of recent productivity.
Introducing the Projects & Tasks Kanban Board
You can now visualize your work with the all-new Kanban Board, a flexible, drag-and-drop workspace. Organize your Projects and Tasks into swimlanes, update statuses in real time, and instantly sync progress across your team.

Expanded Objective Orientation Options
Teams can now define more nuanced goal evaluation logic with new orientation rules such as inside range, outside range, equal to goal, and strict greater/less than. Scorecard shading and progress bars dynamically adapt to company Objective scales (0–100 or 0–200) for accurate visual feedback.
“Rearrange Tiles” Mode for Dashboards
A new Rearrange Tiles mode allows users to reorganize dashboard widgets intentionally. This prevents accidental rearranging on mobile and touch devices, providing smoother scrolling and a cleaner, more controlled experience.
Multiple role per User
Users can now hold multiple concurrent role while maintaining a single identity, permissions set, and reporting relationship. This mirrors the “seats” model and ensures performance and Alignments rollups accurately reflect all active role and Behaviors.
2-Way Sync of Asana into SecureDB
In version 7.8.6, you can now integrate directly with Asana to keep your Tasks and Projects perfectly in sync. Once connected, updates flow both ways — meaning changes made in either platform automatically appear in the other.

Backend Optimization & Database Audit
We’ve implemented a comprehensive database index and foreign-key audit to enhance query performance and enforce data integrity. Customers will notice faster API response times and improved load speeds across dashboards and data-heavy views.
OpenAI Migration
To stay aligned with OpenAI’s roadmap, SecureDB has begun migration from the Assistants API to the Responses API ahead of the 2026 deprecation. This ensures long-term stability and unlocks access to new AI capabilities.
