  5. Six Key Components®

The Six Key Components® are designed to strengthen and streamline any organization. By focusing on these six components, companies can ensure they operate efficiently and effectively. Here is an overview of each component:

  • Vision: This component ensures that everyone in the organization is aligned with where the company is going and how it plans to get there. It involves clearly defining the company’s Core Values, Core Focus, long-term targets, and strategic goals.
  • People: Success depends on having the right people in the right Seats. This component focuses on ensuring that the organization is staffed with individuals who align with its Core Values and who are well-suited to their roles.
  • Data: This component involves running the business on objective, quantifiable data rather than subjective opinions. It includes tracking a handful of key metrics that provide an accurate pulse on the business’s health.
  • Issues: Every organization faces challenges. This component is about identifying, discussing, and solving problems effectively, ensuring that they don’t linger and hinder progress.
  • Process: This component involves documenting and systemizing the core processes that define the business’s operation. It ensures that the company runs efficiently and consistently.
  • Traction: This component involves bringing discipline and accountability to the organization. It involves setting short-term goals (Rocks) and holding regular meetings (such as the Level 10 Meetings) to ensure that the company is effectively executing its vision.

By focusing on strengthening these six components, organizations can address the root causes of their issues and build a stronger, more resilient business.
