How the Referral Partner Commission Structure Works
1. Tagging Referrals and Tracking Revenue
- When you refer a new organization to SecureDB (using your unique link or QR code), that organization is tagged to your partner account from day one.
- All activity, from sign-up to payment and beyond, is attributed to you within the Partner Portal.
2. Revenue Flow and Calculation
- Every month, SecureDB collects all customer payments into a central account.
- The first dollars—our “platform fee” (which covers core tech, support, compliance, and ongoing innovation)—are paid to SecureDB off the top, ensuring the sustainability and continued development of the platform.
- The remaining revenue from each resold organization forms the “commissionable base.” This is the pool from which partner commissions are calculated.
3. Your Commission Rate
- Partners earn a 20% commission on this base.
- This rate applies to all active, paid organizations you’ve referred, as long as their subscription is active and in good standing.
4. How Commissions Are Paid Out
- Commissions are tracked in real time within your Partner Portal dashboard.
- Each month, our system calculates your earned commissions automatically:
- Commission = (Customer Payment – SecureDB‘s base platform fee) x Your commission rate
- Commissions only accrue on successful, paid, active subscriptions (refunds, trials, and chargebacks are excluded).
- You can request a payout through your Partner Portal as soon as you’ve reached the minimum threshold (if applicable). Payments are made via Stripe Connect directly to your bank account.
5. Full Transparency
Your Partner Portal shows:
- Total registered users and organizations you’ve referred
- Your current commission rate and earnings
- Quarter-over-quarter trends for your portfolio
- A detailed history of every organization you’ve referred, the status of their subscriptions, and the commissions generated by each
6. Flexibility and Opportunity
- You can generate custom referral links and QR codes for every campaign or target market.
- As your network grows, so does your commission potential—every new active, paying organization increases your recurring income.
7. No Surprises, No Hidden Fees
- All calculations are shown in your dashboard.
- We only pay commissions on real revenue—no waiting for partner invoices or manual reviews.
- You always know what you’ve earned, what’s on the way, and when you can withdraw.
