  5. v5.5 Released

Performance Scoring v5.5 has be deployed to production. This update includes big things, little things, nerdy things, and some much-requested things. Here’s an overview of what’s included in this release.

Enhancements:

  • Login page now includes show/hide toggle on the password field
  • Projects in meetings now include an optional “Confidence” dropdown
  • Detours now fire a “Hat Tip” notification to users already in the meeting
  • Added option to “Save and Add a New Task” in “Add Task” Modal
  • Ability to “Edit Meeting” from inside the meeting preview without leaving the meeting
  • Ability to “Add Objectives” to a meeting without actually leaving the meeting
  • Added % of Tasks Completed on-time to first tab of Reviews
  • When completing a Review, there is now a final confirmation modal
  • Notifying when 60% of an incomplete task’s timeframe has already elapsed

Upgrades:

  • Upgraded the Laravel Core to the latest version
  • Updated PHP to its latest version (can handle 20% more requests per second than the earlier version)
  • mySQL Database is now RDS, meaning it’s encrypted at rest (military-grade security)
  • AWS S3 enabled for securing and serving static files

Issues Fixed:

  • Division by Zero exception in Meeting ScoreCard fixed
  • “Prior Notes” now show on saved, unsubmitted reviews
  • Select all/none function working better
  • Add to Calendar button in task details modals fixed
  • Fixed Converting Action Items in Reviews to Tasks

There’s a lot more than just those in v5.5, but those are the highlights.

What’s Next?

Big stuff coming down the pipeline right now is a new API builder which will allow Performance Scoring to connect to over 5,000 other web applications to send or pull data from. There’s also going to be an option to adding “guest” users to attend Performance Scoring meetings (without logging in). Lastly, we’re working on a new “nudge” to remind users to complete their tasks. This is in addition to already notifying when 60% of a task’s timeframe has already elapsed.
