In some organizations, employees are allowed to update the current Missions for their own Goals. In others, they are not. In Company Setup, you have the global option to enable or disable this privilege.
Keep in mind, if you select YES from the Company Settings, this does not automatically allow everyone in the organization to update their own Goals. They would still need the permission enabled in their Role.
