When you\u2019re in a live meeting, you don\u2019t have time to fill out a long form for every follow-up. The Quick Add<\/strong> feature lets you capture Tasks and Challenges on the fly from within the meeting screen\u2014just click Add<\/strong>, type a title, and hit Enter<\/strong>. Everything else is pre-filled for you. Use this when you just want to \u201cjot it down now, fine-tune it later.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where “Quick Add” Appears<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Inside a meeting, go to the Tasks<\/strong> or Challenges<\/strong> section. At the top of the Active<\/strong> list you\u2019ll see either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • An inline row that says \u201cEnter title\u2026\u201d<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A + New<\/strong> button (which inserts that inline row when clicked).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Both are part of “Quick Add.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Quick Add a Task During a Meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. In your meeting, go to the Tasks<\/strong> tab\/section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Do one of the following:\n
        \n
      • Click directly into the \u201cEnter title\u2026\u201d<\/strong> field at the top of the list, or<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click + New<\/strong> to create that inline row and place your cursor there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Type the Task title<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Press Enter<\/strong> or click anywhere outside the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        The system instantly saves the Task and converts the inline row into a normal task line with all the usual icons (avatar, date, menu, etc.)\u2014no page refresh and no modal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        If you want to edit the newly-added Task or make adjustments, just click the title or the three dots and then “Task Details” to open the modal with all the options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Quick Add a Challenge During a Meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. In your meeting, go to the Challenges tab\/section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Click into the \u201cEnter title\u2026\u201d<\/strong> row or click + New<\/strong> at the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Type the Challenge title<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Press Enter<\/strong> or click anywhere outside the field.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          The inline row is saved and turned into a standard Challenge entry in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          When to Use Quick Add vs. Full Create<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Use Quick Add<\/strong> when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • You\u2019re in a meeting and need to capture an action item right now<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • You don\u2019t want to break the conversation by opening a full Create modal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • You just need a simple reminder (title only) and will refine details later.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Use the full Create<\/strong> modal when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • You need to set detailed fields immediately (specific assignee, advanced options, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • You\u2019re designing a more complex Task or Challenge with complete context from the start.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
