The Timezone<\/strong> setting in Administration >> Company Settings<\/a><\/strong> determines the default timezone for your organization. This default timezone is automatically applied to users who have not selected a personal timezone in their user profiles<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is the Default Timezone Important?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SecureDB uses your organization’s timezone setting for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Calendar Invites (iCals)<\/strong>: Ensuring Tasks and events sync correctly to your users’ calendars.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Notifications<\/strong>: Accurately timing automated notifications sent to users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Meeting Recap Emails<\/strong>: Clearly communicating meeting times and durations (e.g., “The Team Meeting on March 20th started at 3:30pm and lasted 30 minutes”).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    How to Set or Update Your Organization’s Timezone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to Administration >> Company Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Locate the Timezone<\/strong> dropdown field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select your organization’s primary timezone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Click Save Changes<\/strong> at the very bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
